Dear all,
Walther Neuper from TU Graz will be visiting us for a day and give a
talk on the current state of his work.
An Isabelle-based educational math assistant; present and future
development.
================================================================
Wed. Feb 23, 14:00, MI 00.09.055 ("Alan Turing")
How could educational math software look like, which attracts students
already at high school and continuously conduces towards mathematics as
required in science studies ?
This question led experiments with the Isabelle-based ISAC system [1]
for almost ten years. After field studies have shown the usefulness of
ISAC's experimental design, ISAC's development shall hook up with
front-of-the-wave research in general and with the development of
Isabelle in particular.
So, the talk will present
* the present state of development of ISAC
* various questions about the integration with Isabelle
* plans for the next steps of development
with the hope for vivid discussions alongside the presentation.
