Abstract: This bachelor's thesis provides a (nearly complete) formalization  
of Gibbard's random dictatorship theorem in Isabelle/HOL using the approach  
introduced by Sen. Sen proved the theorem under weaker assumptions. Our  
formalization covers all results by Sen except for the case of a /= b.  
Furthermore, we use strategyproofness as defined by Sen, but did not  
formalize the equivalence to the strategyproofness as defined by Gibbard.
