Abstract: We use the theorem prover Isabelle to formalize two non-trivial  
randomized data structures and proofs of their properties. We therefore  
show that the measure and probability theory in Isabelle/HOL is mature  
enough to write and verify proofs about advanced randomized algorithms. The  
analyzed data structures are treaps and skip lists.
