Abstract:
This thesis presents a verified decision procedure for partial and for  
linear orders. The procedure determines whether a set of equations is  
contradictory and provides a certificate in form of a proof if a  
contradiction is found. We formalise the procedure in the the theorem  
prover Isabelle/HOL and provide an implementation using lists that can be  
executed using Isabelle’s code generation facilities.
